One important example is the brand by the name Bach Flower Remedies, often colloquially referred to as Bachovky in the Czech language. A large number of shoppers search for Bachovky instead of the proper name of the products.
Luigi’s Box is able to handle synonyms, as well as different word forms and variants. Going back to the example of Bach Flower Remedies, with Luigi’s Box Search, users receive relevant results even if they type “Bachovky” into the search bar. This is thanks to the possibility to easily add this colloquialism as a synonym for that particular brand.

Notino’s online stores offer a large variety of products that rotate in and out of the catalog. Many Notino’s customers make their purchases anonymously or as newly registered users. This lack of purchase history or insights into user behavior made it challenging to provide relevant and personalized recommendations.
