Implementing the product search and recommendation on the Nespresso website (CZ and SK) was very easy. I appreciate that they prepared everything exactly according to our needs and provided us with additional support. Quest for a reliable search solution

The local team managing the Nespresso CZ & SK market was looking for a suitable search for their website. The main goal was to find a comprehensive tool that would help customers find the products, categories, manuals, and other items on the website and improve the shopping experience for customers.

At the beginning of 2022, the first contact between Nespresso and Persoo (now acquired by Luigi’s Box) took place. A few months later, in April 2022, Persoo search was launched on the Czech and Slovak websites, accompanied by a recommendation box in product categories. Luigi’s Box helped solve multiple challenges.

Nespresso was well aware of what they expected from the new search solution, so it was easy for them to set the goals it would solve. They wanted a search that would fit their website design.

Nespresso wanted to provide customers with a better user experience and speed up purchasing.

Thanks to Luigi’s Box Personalization and other features, they could do so easily. Luigi’s Box learns what the customers like and provides product suggestions relevant to individual customers. Additionally, searching is a lot easier thanks to Luigi’s Box Search, which doesn’t rely on just simple keyword recognition.

The new search solution should help customers discover Nespresso products and find everything they could be looking for on the web. It should also be able to help them find FAQs, store locations, product categories, manuals, tutorials, articles, and more.

With Luigi’s Box Search, Nespresso can easily provide all the products, services, and information within the search bar. They simply have to type what they want to find.

Easy integration and setup

Nespresso wanted a solution that offered comprehensive help with the integration process, so they could get the solution up and running as fast as possible.

Luigi’s Box offers an assisted integration option, so Nespresso didn’t have to rely purely on self-service no-code or API integration options.

Quick and accurate search results are now a standard for Nespresso

After switching to Luigi’s Box, Nespresso was convinced of the quality of the new search & discovery solution after a couple of months of usage.

The result was a better user experience and satisfaction, as customers did not have to browse the Nespresso website until they found what they needed but could use the advanced search functionality.

The advanced search functionality brought multiple benefits to the website, and it helped remove certain challenges that are quite common with search functionality and browsing on e-shops.

For example, Nespresso customers are no longer troubled with fruitless searches after making typos. This is possible thanks to Luigi’s Box language processing features such as typo correction and the ability to understand grammatical forms and other language aspects.

Additionally, the search can now provide better results thanks to improved product ranking. Furthermore, Nespresso can take advantage of merchandising features that allow them to promote certain products directly in the search bar or pin certain products so customers will notice them faster.
