We analyze e-shop efficiency with every client. We deep-dive into all parts of the e-shop and look for improvements. In this case, we found two significant issues: a poor search engine and irrelevant cross-sell/upsell recommendation boxes.

What was the issue?

Dentimedshop.cz was looking for a solution that would help with revenue increase, number of transactions, and average order value.

Personalized Search and Autocomplete

We implemented autocomplete and search, which can understand clients’ queries even if there are typos or they are incorrect. The search algorithm combines the probability of sales, viewed products, and personalized preferences of each customer. The visual of autocomplete and search is designed for maximal customer satisfaction.

Recommendation boxes

Alternatives to products

We know that the conversion rate is also boosted if the customer can see alternative products on the page with the product he is looking at. The customer doesn’t need to return to the product category but can buy one of the recommended products directly.

Last viewed products

The last viewed box is a super important element that increases customer satisfaction and, hence, revenues. Our know-how is that the best place to put those boxes is the home page.
